The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) has named Purdue’s own Major Jennifer M. Law, USAF as the most outstanding Air Force ROTC instructor in the nation. Major Law is the 1st place Air Force recipient of the NDIA 2012 Colonel Leo A. Codd Memorial Award which recognizes outstanding ROTC instructors in the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Col Seth Bretscher, commander of Purdue Air Force ROTC, noted that this makes Major Law the top instructor for 2012 out of 374 nationwide. Some of Major Law’s many achievements while at Purdue include leading Detachment 220 to an overall “EXCELLENT” Compliance Inspection from the AFROTC Inspector General, and earning an “OUTSTANDING” rating for her Cadet Training program.
