Candlelight Vigil on Purdue Engineering Mall

Candlelight Vigil Held for Andrew Boldt

Last night, students filled the Engineering Mall and the steps of Hovde Hall to remember Andrew Boldt with a candlelight vigil. Just eight hours earlier, the community was stunned to learn their fellow student was gunned down in an Electrical Engineering building classroom.

Members of Purdue Musical Organizations sang hymns despite the bitter cold and Purdue Student Government President and Provost Tim Sands addressed students with words of support.

Andrew Boldt was a highly engaged and dedicated Purdue student due to graduate thisspring. He will be missed.
