Julian Bond Keynote for Martin Luther King Celebration Rescheduled


Due to the impending snowstorm, the Julian Bond lecture for February 4, 2014 has been cancelled. No further information about rescheduling this event is available.

Purdue will host Julian Bond, a social activist and leader in the American civil rights movement.  The event, originally planned for last month, has been rescheduled to February 4, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Loeb Playhouse.

Bond is expected to deliver a powerful message of greater equality, freedom, and justice with a renewed sense of relevance to the Civil Rights Movement in our present times.
